Welcome to Gravesend Camera Club

Are you looking for....... Inspiration? Encouragement? Advice? Then maybe we can help you!

Our web site will give you all the information you need on what Gravesend Camera Club has to offer you. Gravesend Camera Club was formed in 1932 and we currently have a membership of just over 50 members with a wide range of interests and experience. We cater for all levels of photographer from the absolute beginner to the dedicated enthusiast and we are sure that if you come along to one of our club nights you'll enjoy what we have to offer.

Throughout the year we invite a number of guest speakers from all over Kent and sometimes further afield who are willing to share their photographic experiences with us. We also have a number of competitions, which you do not have to take part in, you can just come along and take pleasure in seeing the photographs judged in front of you.

Our season runs from September through to June with our annual exhibition usually being held in July. During the summer break we have informal meetings at the Three Daws, a local public house, where we have a drink and a chat. We hope you find the rest of our site informative and that you will be inspired by the photographs that are on display, enough perhaps to come along on a club night and one of our committee members will be pleased to show you round. Further details can be found on the Information Page.
